Sewell Facilities Management Strengthens Collaboration and Connection with T2 Unity Days

Client Profile & Challenge

Sewell Facilities Management is a growing organisation, with its team expanding by 10% in the past year. The workforce spans multiple regions and locations, with a mix of office-based, remote, and static teams. As the business grew, leaders wanted to maintain a sense of connection and unity across teams, particularly with several new starters joining. While collaboration was already strong, the challenge lay in:

  • Maintaining engagement and alignment across dispersed teams

  • Strengthening relationships as the team grew

  • Spotting hidden talents and encouraging confidence among quieter members

Having experienced the impact of a tailored T2 session on collaboration earlier in the year, Sewell FM’s leadership saw an opportunity to build on that momentum by bringing T2 into their internal team brief days.

Our team has grown by 10% this year, and we’re now spread across multiple locations and regions. The biggest challenge we face is finding effective ways to bring everyone together, especially when many of us are working apart day to day.

T2 partnered with Sewell FM to design a two-day T2 Unity experience, featuring interactive performance training, team development activities, and a keynote session delivered by T2 Senior Consultant James Cooper. The sessions were shaped around Sewell’s specific goals: helping people connect, strengthening relationships and embedding performance messages in a way that would resonate across the business.

The design combined:

  • Business updates presented in an engaging, interactive format

  • Activities to build collaboration and trust between teams

  • Performance-focused training to help individuals develop skills that go beyond the day-today

  • Leadership moments that encouraged people to step up, even outside their comfort zones

  • Flexibility and collaboration were central. T2 worked with Sewell FM to adapt the agenda as needed, ensuring the experience stayed aligned with business outcomes while keeping energy high.

Results

The T2 Unity Days had an immediate impact, sparking stronger connections and creating space for hidden skills to shine.

Key outcomes included:

  • Stronger collaboration across teams – with relationships growing both within and across regions.

  • Greater confidence and leadership moments – quieter colleagues stepped up during group problem-solving, surprising peers and managers with their leadership potential.

  • Boosted engagement and morale – employees valued the opportunity to connect with colleagues in a positive, fun, and productive way.

  • Increased alignment – team members left with clarity on key business messages, reinforced through interactive delivery.

  • While still in the early days, Sewell’s leadership is confident that the positive effects will continue to build as the team applies what they learned and experienced together.

Client Testimonial

“I’d absolutely recommend T2 and their interactive team days. They were a fantastic way to energise our teams, boost engagement, and strengthen both new and existing relationships. The sessions gave us a chance to spot talents and skills that don’t always surface in day-to-day work, which was a real highlight. It was also great to have some fun as a team while delivering key messages that support everyone in their roles.”
