The T2 Leadership Retreat 2025: A Transformational Three-Day Experience

The T2 Leadership Retreat 2025 has officially come to a close — and what an extraordinary experience it’s been.

Hosted at the stunning The Grove Hotel in Watford, this year’s retreat brought together a powerful group of top senior leaders from across industries for three immersive days of insight, growth, and connection. Designed and delivered by T2 – The People Performance People, the retreat offered a unique space to explore the core pillars of exceptional leadership: self-awareness, teamship and psychological safety, and high performance.

Day One: Self-Awareness in Action

From the moment our delegates arrived, the energy was undeniable. Day One set the tone with an intense focus on self-awareness — challenging assumptions, exploring individual leadership styles, and embracing vulnerability in service of growth.

One of the standout moments? The Pressure Rooms challenge, which tested agility under pressure and sparked valuable reflections. The winning team, led by T2's consultant Scott Alexander Morrison, made the inspiring decision to donate their prize to Fair Ways, supporting vulnerable children.

Day Two: Building Trust through Teamship

Day Two took us beyond the walls of The Grove Hotel for a dynamic series of off-site challenges centered around teamship and psychological safety at Lee Valley.

From rafting to orienteering, leaders worked together in unfamiliar environments, learning to trust, support, and communicate with intention. It wasn’t just team-building — it was a powerful reminder of the importance of showing up as a collective.

We closed the day with inspiring keynote sessions from Mike Bates and Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton, whose stories and insights left a lasting impression on every delegate in the room.

Day Three: Unlocking High Performance

The final day shifted focus to high performance — exploring what drives elite leaders to consistently operate at their best. Delegates engaged deeply with The Attributes framework, reflecting on the mental skills and behavioural traits that underpin sustainable excellence.

To close the retreat, T2 CEO Martin Johnson hosted an incredible and captivating conversation with Damian Hughes, co-host of The High Performance Podcast — a truly inspiring exchange that left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.

It was an unforgettable way to end an unforgettable journey.

Celebrating Leadership Excellence

We were proud to recognise standout contributions from several delegates whose openness, authenticity, and leadership inspired us all. Congratulations to this year’s T2 Leadership Retreat Awards winners: Brenda Wyllie , Kelli Fielding, and Tim Goodhew.

Your example elevated the experience for everyone around you.
