T2 supports empowering Humberside Police International Women’s Day event
We were proud to play a role in Humberside Police’s recent International Women’s Day event, held at the force’s Melton West facility.
Hosted by Humberside Police’s Women’s Integrated Network, the event brought together female colleagues from across the organisation to connect, share live experiences, and invest in their own development.

T2 Lead Consultant Bernice Casserly delivered a workshop centred on a question that so many women in the workplace will recognise: Women are told to “be more confident”, but what does that actually look like in practice? The session tackled that issue head-on, exploring how women can truly own their voice, lead with purpose, and create real impact by connecting to their core values.
The event wasn’t just about the workshop, though. It created an opportunity for female colleagues to share their experiences and learnings of what it is like being a woman in the police force.
“These types of events are not just about swapping business cards. They’re about empowering one another through your stories, as your lived experiences can always help somebody else,” said Lee-Anne North, Humberside Police Leadership & Management Trainer.
T2’s involvement is part of our wider partnership with Humberside Police’s Female Development Programme. T2 delivers work focused on women in leadership, and events such as this are a natural extension of that work, reinforcing and building on the themes participants explore throughout their development journey.
While confidence and leadership presence come more naturally to some, they are also skills that can be learned, practised, and owned. In environments like policing, where women continue to carve out space and influence, that matters. That’s exactly what T2 is here to help with, and it was a privilege to bring that message to such an engaged and inspiring group of women.
